I’m loving Chelsea Flower’s newest collection; it is sure to be a closet staple not only for now, but for the approaching fall. We spoke with creative director Dawn Mayo on her thought process in designing for next season.
“What we love to have most in our wardrobe for Fall 2012 is a nice mix of strong classic styles, but with a twist. How great is it to look fierce in your slim trousers and cropped leather jacket, then to take it off and reveal just a little bit of skin on your shoulders or your back? We’ve designed our blouses for the season to do just that. Appropriate enough to wear to work, but with that little bit of sex appeal that makes it still great for a date. We love that you can mix Chelsea Flower with some of your favorite other brands, to dress up and down the look.”
